About Me

I hold a bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychology from Kyambogo University in Kampala, Uganda, and a Master's degree in Work, Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Linnaeus University (2023–2025). My professional background spans both mental health and the financial sector. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I worked briefly as a psychologist counsellor before transitioning to the banking sector, where I spent five years as a Relationship Manager in business and corporate banking. I later worked as a research assistant at the Swedish Red Cross University (2022-2023) before returning to Linnaeus University to pursue my masters degree. I am currently a PhD student at the Swedish Red Cross University.

Research profile

My doctoral project focuses on the co-development and evaluation of a scalable low-intensity peer support intervention for forced migrant women experiencing mental ill-health. The project explores how peer support can be designed and implemented within Swedish health and social services to improve access to mental health support for this population. The research includes qualitative and quantitative studies aimed at assessing the acceptability, feasibility, and clinical impact of the intervention.
