Erasmus+

Erasmus + is a collaboration between colleges and universities in Europe. Students and staff at the Swedish Red Cross University can study and serve at a higher education institution in another European country through the programme.

What we offer to incoming Erasmus+ students

The minimum stay for Erasmus+ studies is 90 days. The following is included (total: 19,5 ECTS): 

• 4 weeks of clinical placement primary health care
• 4 weeks of clinical placement in nursing in emergency care 
• Global nursing, 5 weeks. We recommend this for incoming Erasmus students as it includes 2 weeks of field study (observational study) at a hospital.

This means that  we offer incoming Erasmus students a total of 10 weeks of clinical placement. Due to internal regulations, we are unfortunately not able to offer students clinical placements that are not part of the above mentioned courses.

The Swedish Red Cross University College insurance coverage for incoming exchange students is limited to general liability insurance and accident insurance during study hours at the Swedish Red Cross University College. The student must arrange for her/his own insurance coverage, including: health, accident (outside study hours) and housing. Erasmus students will be asked to show these insurance coverages before arrival to the Swedish Red Cross University College.
