Forskningsanslag till RKH

Röda Korsets Högskola erhåller 449 000 kr över ett år från SIANI för ett forskningsprojekt som relaterar till "Rural transformation and landscape management" i Brasilien och Kamerun. Projektet knyter an till FNs Globala mål #2.

The project “Rural Change Captured Through a Youthful Lens”, initiated by David Hallberg, and also involving Henrik Eriksson of the Swedish Red Cross University College (SRCUC), receives a grant of SEK 449 000 over one year. Core concepts of the project are rural-urban transformation and spatial video narratives.

Keeping in mind the UN Sustainable Development Goal #2 and the global dimension of the SRCUC, the project contributes to an understanding of social change and social impacts of rural-urban transformations on the community members in Cameroon and Brazil at the local level. The project emphasises approaches to audio-visual art as means by which to enhance the implications for society.

The goal of SIANI, initiated with support from Sida, “is to ensure sustainable agriculture for food security, improved nutrition and the eradication of hunger”.
