At the Swedish Red Cross University, we strive to give both students and staff opportunities to develop new education perspectives and deepen their intercultural competence.

Coming to The Swedish Red Cross University as an Erasmus student

We offer Erasmus nursing students from our partner universities the opportunity to study at our nursing programme in English. This specific exchange period is 13 weeks and takes place within semester five.

These weeks, the exchange students participate in work-based training in primary health care in Stockholm (4 weeks) and emergency care (4 weeks). They may also do field studies in the health or medical care environment for two weeks within the Global nursing course.

As an alternative to the above, we can offer you an Erasmus internship for nine weeks, including one week introduction, four weeks of work-based training in primary health care and four weeks of work-based training in emergency care in Stockholm.

We strive to collaborate with more universities around Europe. If you are interested in discussing the opportunities of a partnership, please contact the International coordination team.
